ABOUT THE PROJECT

Located within the old Johnson Tiles site the industrial development consists on a number of warehouse units of varying scale. The project has a strong ESD push with a large amount of material recycling onsite as well as balancing of cut and fill on site to eliminate transport of spoil from site. This collection of warehouses has been conceived as an exploration mosaic patterning of façade elements. The mosaic effect is seen as a link to the heritage of the site as a manufacturer of ceramic tiles.
